Well 2020 was such a shit year, I was desperate to start 2021 off on the right foot. Part of that, for me, was dedicating more time in my life to creating things! I have been long collecting fabric and patterns (and yarn + a million other craft supplies) for long enough. 2021 is the year to start making things! I decided to start with the Ogden Cami by True Bias Patterns.
I bought this pattern a year or two ago. It looked simple enough to make and comfy to wear. Plus I had some great linens that I knew would be perfect for it.
So I decided to start of my year with this pattern as my wardrobe is in need of some comfortable and simple top pieces. I chose a floral linen that I got from Fabricland two years ago. Actually, my amazing mama bought me some fabric for my birthday so I could make some new clothes! I guess it’s the gift that keeps on giving!

The pattern was super easy! There were very few pieces and the top is lined halfway down to ensure that it is a clean look around the neckline. I didn’t even mind having to turn the straps right side out! It’s usually such an annoying job.

This was my second True Bias pattern. I made some shorts last year, which I will link to once I get that post completed. This was a well written pattern and was easy to understand and execute.
This was a very quick make and only took about half a day to get it together. I will make more of these but I think I will need to figure out a bust adjustment to get a nicer fit in the chest. I will also add some length but that is just a personal preference.

All in all, not bad for an afternoon. I have also worn this Ogden Cami by True Bias multiple times and it ups my work from home attire while still maintaining the required comfort!
